Product Review - Bourjois Bronzing BB Cream

Bourjois BB Bronzing Cream 2013 Riviera Collection Review Tried Swatch

I'm always a sucker for a new summer collection. I swear I sometimes wonder round Boots looking for new things to try.

I came across Bourjois BB Cream just before my holiday when Bourjois were showing off their Summer Riveria collection like a peacock attracting a mate... and boy did it attract me!

The collection is made up of gorgeous bronzing products perfect to warm up our faces this summer. I went for the Bronzing BB Cream as I've been wanting to try a BB Cream for a while and whats better then something that's going to give you a bit of a glow?!

At first I was a bit apprehensive about wacking this straight on my face because it is SO dark... but don't worry, it's one of those genius products that as it sinks it adapts to your natural skin colour. I apply just under one pump on the back of my hand and then apply with my MAC 187 - you could apply with your fingers but I prefer using my brush and buffing it in. Because it takes time to adapt I don't powder straight away, I wait about 5 minutes and spend the time doing my eyebrows. I then apply MAC MSF to set everything.

For my holiday I packed both the Bourjois BB Cream, and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundaton for the evenings - but not once did I reach for the foundation. Instead I used this every night becasue it just looks so natural and lets your skins (and freckles) show through. Since returning from holiday this is still the only thing I've used - even on a night out I've opted for this instead of foundation.

Bourjois BB Cream is so light on, makes your skin look flawless and gives you a nice boost of colour without looking orange. I haven't stopped using this product since I bought it and I feel quite fearful about returning back to foundation... I feel like my face will feel so cakey and clogged!!!

Overall I would give this product 4/5 - for me currently (with a tan) it is perfect but I wouldn't recommend this for is people with pale skin - although it adapts I think it would look too dark on very light skin so in winter I don't see me being able to use this.
